The Next Chapter Begins

Today, I woke up to snow on the ground. I always wondered what our property would look like under a beautiful white blanket early in the morning.

Yes, we closed on the house. Not without a lot of frustration, and we don’t have any nice things to say about anyone we worked with throughout the entire process, except one: Susan Meierotto. She was our Redfin agent to purchase the home (circumstances at the time dictated we needed a different agent to sell our old home. Long story.) Not only did Sue keep us from dealing with the day-to-day details that would only cause us stress, she endeared herself to us with her bright personality and street smarts. We consider her a friend.

As our Modern Migration Story enters a new chapter, I can say that the hardships, uncertainties, and frustrations we endured over the last two months have all been worth it. Welcome to the Top Left Corner of our world.
